Contest - Website Front Page

Greetings all, as many of you know we do not have a front page and have not ever since this community was founded. Over the past almost two years we've had a few people take up the mantle to create one only to get too busy/PC Exploded/distracted by shiny object before they were able to complete the job.

In order to make sure that shit gets done and gets done right, Ive surmised that the best way to do this would be to hold a contest for anyone to design a front page. To be clear this will be graphical only, you do not need to code the back-end, just create the graphical layout and we have someone else to do the rest.



Here is how this is going to work; To enter you will submit one large jpeg of how everything would look in the end when layered together, in addition you must submit all of the components sliced apart, ie. background, title graphic, buttons, etc.

After we have received all of the submissions we will put them all up as subdomains for people to view and discuss (ie. entry01.brbuninstalling.com). These would be non-functioning, but serve to show people what they would look 'like'. All entries to this point will be "unsigned", in that when the community goes to view and discuss them, only the administration team will know who submitted what.

The community can then vote on which submission they want for the front page, but this will only serve as a recommendation, final authority in a selection will rest with the admins.


Requirements:

• Unsigned submissions, do not put your name or signature on the initial submission, if selected we will include it in the actual page
  
• A spot for news posts & articles
  
• A spot for 2 AD/Sponsor Banners, (vertical and/or horizontal)
  
• A spot for server banners (see the gameservers.com server page, vert/horizonal banner showing the server status)
  
• Spot for a paypal button, may be custom
  
• A link bar that links the following and is dynamic enough to change to include others we have not yet thought of: forums, old posts, HLStats, downloads, events. Optional: Game Guides, Reviews, links, steam community page
  

All Entries must be submitted to me via PM by February 5th at midnight, from February 8th - 14th we will hold community discussion on submissions, and in the week after that the administration team will select the winning design.

Prize: $60 in games on STEAM of your choice
