All my sounds (Excluding things with Environmental Sound [Most Games]) sound weird, but simply shifting the Environment settings doesn't work and it doesn't appear to be a sound-card mixer thing (And by that I mean I can't find anything wrong with the mixer settings on my card)

OS is [shadow=red,left]Windows Vista[/shadow]
Sound Card is Some RealTek HD Audio card
Headset is a Gamecom Plantronics gizmo.. big ugly headset...

Any help would be appreciated, I first noticed the problem when I swapped out headsets for this one (New headset broke, switched back to an old headset I kept because these bloody things don't normally last me more than a month or two and it didn't have this problem before.)

I guess these are not the USB version of the Gamecom headphones?

Tried newer RealTek drivers?

Edit: The drivers are up to date

the non-usb version was about thirty dollars cheaper (70 USD instead of 100)
and no I have not.. I will check now.
