Only problem right now is that half of it isn't loading. Maybe so many people are downloading it at once or something.

Edit: The feature where it shows what friends play what games is very nice.
Edit 2: New downloads menu is nice too.
Edit 3: Additional invite functionality in friends window is good.
Edit 4: Games Grid is awesome looking. Not really useful, but awesome looking.
Edit 5: It showing your recent achievements in each game screen is cool.
Edit 6: OH MY GOD YOU CAN MAKE GAME CATEGORIES YOURSELF!
Edit 7: Woah, Half-Life 2: Episode 1 has achievements on PC now.
Edit 8: And Half-Life 2.
Edit 9: In-game shift tab menu kicks ass. IT SHOWS THE TIME! No more needing to spam friends.
Edit 10: Half-Life: Opposing Force has achievements now too.

you can just opt back out if you don't like it. personally, i didn't like it, most of the updated UI was an even bigger waste of space than the previous iteration

Yeah, I agree. there's a LOT of empty space. I mean, they should either remove all that space below the name and avatar in the chat or make the avatar bigger. There's also that space above and below the STEAM COMMUNITY GAMES thing and at the bottom of the friends list.

One other thing is that they need to add collapsible lists in the detailed games list.

oh, you can actually type to jump in the games window. Like, I can type "team" and it'll jump straight to Team Fortress 2 where I can hopelessly try to get it to launch.

I really enjoy the Game Categories, they're not really that necessary, but they're pretty great when you just want to find a specific thing.

I dunno if I like the art style. I kinda hate how they shade it to try and make it look 3D or at least less flat. I like my UI's fairly simple in art and detailed in presentation.

you probably have a better proc than mine. still, scrolling a fl should not do that.



my overlay broke too, so the only part i really liked about this is dead. =(
