So this past friday like 3 hours before FNF, my computer mysteriously BSOD'ed, left me with some corrupted windows files, but windows would still boot and run some things, just a lot of GUI's weren't readable, or simply hardlocked the PC if I tried to open them.

I waited until Sat to reinstall, seeing as how I could still game properly, spent the better part of yesterday reinstalling and config'ing/tweaking, planning on making a new slipstream DVD of a fully updated copy of Win7 to lessen this annoyance should it happen again.

This morning when I wake up I remember I forgot to run a defrag last night while I was bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, so I start the defrag running.

Out in the kitchen grabbin some munchies, when the power turns off.

I'm like =|

Log files from recovery console tell me defrag had itself buried in windows/system32/drivers when it shut off.

Why do I have a UPS system for my server and LAN gear, but not my primary PC?

>Sad

O_o  That's balls.  Makes me think I should get a power backup when I get my new rig.

<+Karrde> welp, time to learn some basic patterning skills
<@Negate> 12121212121212121212
<@Negate> there is a simple pattern
<+Karrde> I changed my mind.  Gonna cosplay as a gay demon from hell and get negate raped instead XD
<+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself
<+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some.
