Yes, because I actually believe it deserves its own thread. For those of you that don't know, Steam is having one of its infamous massive sales of games. Think the Winter Holiday sales, only multiply it by two. I have set aside this thread for discussion of specifically the deals being offered in this sale, and also a resource for everyone to communicate the distribution of their duplicate games. In other words, if you have games to gift or want to sell (probably against the steam terms of use agreement but whatever), say so here! Oh, and be sure to mention what you picked up and make recommendations for everyone else. There's no way everyone already knows everything about every one of these games, we need everyone to pitch in their opinions so we can make the most of this upcoming 10 days.

At no small expense to my sanity, I have compiled all of the deals being offered between June 24th and July 4th:

Sweet, Spore's been talking about a Doom 3 mod that makes it cooperative. Should be fun.

Been working on justifying what packs to get. Here's my comments so far:
2K Pack: The only game that I'm really interested in is Bioshock 2. I have Borderlands, and although the DLCs sound nice, the reality is that I'll have few people to play them with, and Caff mentioned this horrible DRM that the packs install. There's Civ4, but I already have that. As for everything else, I'll pass on X-COM and Railroad Tycoon (lmao). Do not want.
Call of Duty Pack: Was planning to get World at War for $30 anyways. Plus, I'll have a copy of COD2 to give/sell. Do want.
id Pack: I already have the Doom 3 pack, and although I can appreciate the historical value of games like QUAKE II and HeXen, I don't know if I'll really play them. Plus, no Quake 4! Seriously? Do not want.
Indie Pack: I haven't decided yet.
Introversion Pack: It's only $5, I liked my Darwinia demo, and DEFCON looks interesting. May as well. Do want.
Rockstar Pack: I already own the GTA pack, plus GTAIV. The only games I'd be interested in are Bully and maybe the Max Paynes for nostalgia. I could buy those individually for much cheaper. Do not want.
Square Enix + Eidos Pack: I haven't decided yet.
Star Wars Pack: I haven't decided yet.
TellTale Pack: I haven't decided yet. I'd love some input on this pack, I'm curious about it.
THQ Pack: Yes! I had been waiting for a while to get Tales of Valor, plus I get Metro 2033, Dawn of War II, Frontlines, and Full Spectrum Warrior. Plus I'll have extra copies of Company of Heroes with Opposing Fronts, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and Red Faction: Guerilla. Plus it's one of the cheaper packs. Do want.
Valve Pack: Honestly, I own all the Valve titles I care about. All this pack would add is stuff like Ricochet and CS:CZ. Of course, Valve could always incentivize it by offering a NEW TF2 HAT. Do not want.

There's a lot of great games in Starwars pack but ultimately I don't think it's worth 75 dollars, but that's me and i have no job so

Too bad I don't have much spare funds.  I'm sure I could find a game or two to grab out of all that.

It is probably worth mentioning that the vast majority of games on Steam do not allow you to gift duplicates.
