WHAT THE KARTH IS WRONG WITH CRITICAL HITS ON THIS GAME!!

Seriously, 3 out of 7 hits are critical, and there isn't a Trainer battle where 2 or 3 are Crtis :/

someone needs to explain to me how to really play this game correctly.  I feel like i'm playing an rpg where i have to power level 156 characters and decide which four abilities will be more useful 40 levels from now.

This game needs a x2 speed function to maintain fun levels.

For beating the actual game, you really don't need to pick more than 6 different ones and level them sufficiently.


To play competitively you should plan a team out in advance around some kind of strategy then level, EV Train, and get the proper move sets.

Seriously. I just got done with a battle where the guy had two crits in a row. I haven't played pokemon since Sapphire but I don't remember the crit rate being upwards of 20%

Yea, the crits suck. I was trying to level a pokemon and it just kept getting wiped when it really should have won. :|

Everyone has a scope lens.  Yeah there's more crits than other games but if you have a safe type against that damage you should be fine.  Also fuck the new legendary flying-only pokemon.  It has nothing the other two don't have but they get ground or electric moves too.
