You're a real young'in then. Seriously though, those games did kick a lot of ass. Just tons of them. They need to get another Luigi game out there.

Sonic Adventure 2 has not aged well (except for the chao garden) in my opinion. The controls are terrible, the game is pretty buggy, and the voice acting was pretty bad. Also: HOLY GOD THE MUSIC WAS TERRIBLE.

Luigi's Mansion is still awesome and I don't know why they didn't make a sequel.

Please, go play some even older games

I recommend starting with the following

Super Metroid
Megaman 2
Sonic 2
Sonic 3 + Sonic & Knuckles
Link to the Past
Mario 3

If you play any of these...please play Super Metroid, every other action adventure game will feel like a hollow shell in comparison

Please do not fail me youth of tomorrow  >Sad

You gotta admit the camera and controls were terrible, even if you didn't want to admit it when you first played it.

Also @caff

Edit: Also: Sonic 3 and Knuckles was my definitive childhood experience, nothing was more badass to me than hookin' up that massive abomination of a cartage, and blowing an entire day doing a straight run with all the chaos emeralds.

Gotta admit, I was a sega freak growing up, thought Mario had nothing on the Blue Wonder. Golden Axe, Castlevania: Bloodlines, Echo the Dolphin, and so many others really made me biased with that 'lill console for the longest time. Ahh, nostalgia.

Never finished Super Metroid.  And I'd have to add a few games to that list:

Super Castlevania 4
Earthworm Jim
Rush N' Attack
Vectorman
Air Fortress (this game will make you RAGE, but I used to play the shit out of this game.)

Karf, somebody of your age is supposed to say "I have had Link to the Past and Super Metroid sitting next to my Super Nintendo for a decade and a half. I've finished both of them multiple times." What you just said was horrible and wrong.
