Today I tried two soda's I've never heard of before.

First is Sioux City Root Beer.

While the bottle is promising, the actual soda is fairly poor. Too much carbonation and a fairly sour taste, not to mention a nasty aftertaste. Stay away from this Root Beer lovers, it's no good.

Second bottle I tried was.....this:

What an odd flavor...and I'm fairly sure there's more than one variation of this, so don't take my word for it. The one I had tasted strongly of fruit, maybe raspberry. I also tasted a hint of cream soda and some sour apple. Surprisingly tasty, especially with all the fizz that comes with it. Only downside is that the color of the drink is this nasty blue-ish green that looks like liquid fertilizer. Otherwise, gets a thumbs-up from me.

FTFY

their root beer is also good, but birch (espescially red birch) is the superior beer soda.

Beer is for babies, is more like it.  It's all piss.  Real men drink actual booze.  Soda helps with that too ;D Drink a vault soda with Captain Morgan and the aftertaste is cream soda Big Grin

Usually doing the Dew or A&W Rootbeer for the most part.

Come to ACen next year and get educated in good beer.

From what little experience I have, anything aside from micro (and smaller) breweries is shit flavored piss. That being said, I am drinking a Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss right now...

I like Cel-ray, not many places have it though (probably because celery soda just doesn't sound that good.) All of Boylan's flavors are pretty good if you're into cane sugar.

The Potbelly's at UIUC carried Cherry Boylan's, shit was good.

Also, Cheerwine. I think it comes primarily from the south (read Tennessee), but a friend of mine visited family and brought back a crate of this delicious cherry soda.

I had agave soda recently.

Surprisingly good. Not overly sweet, with the mild, unique flavor of... well.... agave.

Forgot the brand though.
