Just gave the demo a run on the 360 and it's not too bad.  For those that don't know, these are the guys who made Black on the PS2.  This shares alot with that, bringing more destruction so you can tear your way through barricades, cover, and the walls of buildings. 

When you kill people they drop little orbs that are either intel to powerup your badass abilities, like the one that makes your bullets much stronger to shred through things.  The others are ammo and one other that I don't know.

While it's a more visceral game than others, it really didn't look all that great on my tv.  Maybe that is just cause of the demo, but it's visually not that impressive if it isn't.  Also only played with two guns in the game.  Was pissed I couldn't use the bosses hulking...machine cannon or whatever it was lol

Can't say how good it really is, but it could be a really solid rental or insta buy at a cheaper price perhaps.

Really not impressed with this game.  While Black was a pretty original shooter at the time, focusing on this intense gun action, Bodycount is just...A rather bland arcade shooter.  Of the guns you get at the start, nothing really stands out, all rather generic weapons that don't even look that good.  You can't pick up guns as you go and I think you only unlock new guns that you equip at certain points through good ratings I'm guess, so I went like 4 or 5 levels with just the same two weapons. What happened with that gun porn talk?

The cover system while different, removes iron sights for this body on a swivel cover system.

Tearing through shit is kinda alright, but nowadays, that has been done and been done better with games like Bad Company.  It's a rental at best.  Multiplayer didn't seem that great either and it takes tons of round to down people. Just try the demo and if you like what you play, that seems to be what your getting with this game.  Rather disappointed in this game. While Black had a bland story setup, it at least had intense action.  This has a bland story setup, but the actual is rather band also, making for just a "meh" game.
