Hey folks. After my Christmas upgrades, the vicious cycle of wanting upgrades has begun anew.

What I'm pretty much looking at replacing now is my PS, GPU and possibly the addition of a third monitor.

So after some initial research, I've found that the 670 is comparable to the 680, and supports 3 monitors. These are the 2 I'm looking at:

Is it worth spending the extra 100-150 for a 680, or save it and put that towards the PS? Also, would it'd be smart of me to look into ATI cards? They support 3 monitors right?

And this would the PS I'm getting. I'm all but sure that I'll have this purchased within a month or 2.

Confirmed, ATI/AMD graphics are comparable, but AMD can't write drivers for shit, and you'll have to endure broken games and sudden crashes to Windows until the next update.

On the other hand, I'm saving money not buying new games, only games which have been on the market for a few months.

Sweet. My original ideal was to skip ATI cards. I've only ever dealt with Nvidia, and I've had absolutely no issues with them. And unless there is a massive drop in price any time soon, I'll mostly likely get the 670.

any other suggestions are helpful.

Just get tri-SLI Titans.

But seriously, I vote for the GTX 670.  The 680 and 690 are for enthusiests who don't mind dramatically diminishing returns to squeeze the most performance possible.

depending on the power supply you have now, you probably dont need to upgrade. A 600 is probably more than enough as both myself and Hek have both said before in other threads for builds. So by all means save the money on that portion if you wish to upgrade.

Gotta upgrade PS. I've actually run out of sata-power cords from it, and I don't wanna use molex to sata cords. The PS upgrade is happening sooner rather than later.
