Just Cause 2 Multiplayer

Beta event this weekend!  Who wants to have BRBU shenanigans?  I've played for about 6 hours so far.  Everything works far better than I expected, though only explosive weapons currently work due to lag problems.

I propose an event at 9 PM EST tonight.  It'll be easy to meet up since everyone can freely teleport to around a dozen areas.  Who's in?

Actually the hundreds of people is more of a downside than a positive so far.  It mostly results in assholes with rocket launchers camping every spawn point and teleport location, so last night we had to go to all the edges of the map looking for somewhere without douchebags.

It was fun when were able to get some races going and it was awesome doing dumb crap like tethering multiple vehicles together and attaching to a chopper, but there were simply too many people in it.  Hundreds of people with rocket launchers and choppers/tanks/attack jets just creates a shit storm.  If they can fix that somehow, it might be something really fun.  If we got like ten of us on to do races across the map, it would be amazing.

if they release dedicated servers... we may be in business

Would need sonera server mod that caused (chosen transportation method) to blow up after 60 seconds if we were going to do some race. Would add an element of randomness and make it more fun
