I'm upgrading the following:

CPU (Currently a 3.33Ghz C2D)
Mobo (Currently an Asus P5E Deluxe)
Ram (Currently 4Ghz of what brand I can't remember at the moment)
Possibly the case too.

Budget is about $900

Ask again mid June.

Haswell is due out then, either it's be awesomer then Ivy Bridge, and/or it'll drive the price of Ivy Bridge down.
So far, it sounds like it's a kickass core.

This.

As for the RAM I recommend Patriot.  If you want high performance, over-clockable RAM just check Newegg.  RAM is in general very good if you buy from a good brand, just get anything with 5 eggs and DDR3 1600.

As for cases you can never go wrong with the Antec 900.  Another fantastic option in your range, especially if you want to spring for the higer-end i7-4770K, would be the HAF 912.

for ram either corsair vengeance, or g skill ripjaws (16gb 2x8) and 1600.
My personal favorite for a case is Antec 302 because blue lights are cooler but, they are usually not needed also mine is cheaper.
Also find a good SSD for os and a couple games that are heavy on loading.

Or if you want to wait you could blow most of your budget on a GTX 780 (about $650)

I agree with g skill ripjaws, they're in my machine and it works great.

Welp, Haswell is out.  Time to do this thing.

And it's not as amazing as expected.

That said, it is 5-10% faster per model then the Ivybridge.

My take: It's a new CPU with a new socket type. Might as well take advantage of the latest tech.
On average you'll pay ~$30-40 more for the CPU and $20-30 more for the mobos over Ivybridge.
There hasn't been a price reduction of IB yet.

The besides a slight price difference (negated by the performance difference) the only advantage that IB has is that it can overclock better then Haswell. In turn, Sandybridge overclocks better then IB.

So, unless you are planning on heafty OC'ing, go with the next generation.
