Convince me to buy this. I thought 3 was dumb as hell but 2142 and BC2 were great.

Hm, Well

No one can make you want BF4, and if you were never into the series then dont get it

My reasons.
1 - Frostbite 3, beautiful game, Interesting game play, Bigger environments.
2 - single player, BF3 Felt really guided and meh. BF4 you can
3 - Destructible Enviro, Better then BF3 much better. IE You can Blow up a support beam in a basement and the roof falls in around that area.
4 - Bringing back Commander mode. which also works on tablets.
5 - Levolution, Dynamically changing the map due to a boat crashing into the island, a massive building falling down.
6 Has elevators w/ Chinese elevator music
7 - Not just Conquest, if you dont like Conq they have squad base games, 5v5 Bomb defuse, which I would think feels like Counterstrike with Battlefield.

Now these are merely features, you would have to have played the Beta to get the feel of the mechanics, or they flow of the game. It feels similar to BF3 but still has that new touch.

Here are some cons
-I dont like the kill cam - Dont know why they added this. (To match up with COD?)
-Some weapons right now are Overpowered, IE RPGs esp with PLD. (It can lock on) which makes no sense, Ive handled RPGs in the service, There is no Guidence system on an RPG. Hopefully a balance will happen. Considering BF series strive to have a realistic gameplay (to a degree)
-The Dynamic map changes seem to not Flow right. IE the building falling when it hits the water creates no wake, and most of the building falls in the map from what it seems
-I had issues saving my controls sometimes. (hopped in a Helo and my controls were not as they were in the previous game.)
-The counter Knifing has some bugs.

It was still beta, but Im sure it will be fixed Bf3 had a lot of issues on release.

There is tons of videos about the game, pros and con wise.

If you are debating inbetween this and ghosts, I dont know much about COD:G I dont plan on getting it on release. Maybe if I see good changes or something.

RPGs are fixed already, it was actually a bug where most of the time it would work like a SAM based missile system but sometimes wouldn't, probably a lazy coder copypasting

bf3 was shit and the bf4 beta was fun and none of that is due to their marketing reasons like adding ~levolution~ and renaming frostbite 2 frostbite 3, it just seems better thought out

I was talking about how powerful they were, If you had a recon friend using a PLD to lock on to people, then if you had an RPG you could autolock (Which is the most unrealistic mechanic) One shot nearly everything. They fixed that where PLD assistant targeting will not allow the RPG (which has no guidence of any kind) to lock on?

Yes, it's on their blog posts, they actually did a ton of weapon balancing and fixes like this.

With the launch of BF4 Imminent, I need, as soon as people have their profiles on BF4 Battlelog up, links to those profiles so that I can set you up with the admin daemon that is provided by NFO (I see no reason for Procon right now), note that the admin feature is based on your profile name (since Profile Names can not be duplicated in Battlelog), so I will be copying and pasting whatever it is exactly in there.
