Cosplay Progess!

So who's working on some new cosplays this summer besides Kase and I?

I'm currently making a Homura Akemi cosplay and hopefully starting on my other two later down the road!

I'm actually shopping for costume shit right this second, Winnipeg crew is looking at doing a city 17 rebel group, and one of the key things for that is denim and plenty of it, but normally that shit is way over priced. I found www.sammydress.com has denim jackets for like $20, and I was already looking to get a hoodie from there anyway, so its probably a good time to grab that. The rest of the costume is pretty much a toque and a coupe ammo/medkit pouches and an mp5 and a lambda spray painted on the sleeve.

I'm going to attempt Aiden Pearce for next year. Looks like custom embroidered hat and some leather-work in the future.
Dunno what I am going to do with my glasses. I hope he wears sunglasses...

I've started work just last week on a big project. I'm keeping it a secret until show time, but it's going to be large, red and fiberglass'ed. Unfortunately it's going to be too large and bulky to bring to ACEN if I go next year.

I'd feel bad making another thread in the cosplay index for my own cosplays (I have one for my Scooter cosplay anyhow), so I'm just gonna throw down some of my WIPs here if that's fine///!



I recently got into Attack on Titan and my group and I have decided we're gonna cosplay because wow awesome 3D gear! Well I started by completing my boots for my Annie Leonhardt/Jean Kirstein cosplay (My friends and I couldn't choose one character so we'll be cosplaying two ahaha). Hopefully I can get a move on and do the 3D gear AND the whole harness since everything else I can purchase and holy crap I ramble a lot about cosplaying I'm so sorry.

I'm working on the 3D maneuver gear that the characters wear and this is what I got so far! Took a lot of gluing, foam board, cutting, and sanding to get through! I'm hoping I could start painting it sometimes next week--maybe then I'll get my cash from work and all my old clothes that I'm selling so I can actually start buying more materials
