Okay ever since I got Reus & trying to update the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0. at some point it failed. Nothing happen at first, can't play the game but no biggy, but after that day next day I turn on my pc & it boots up, then resets a few time before booting up right. asked my brotherinlaw to take a look at it & he couldn't find anything wrong.

Then now when it boots up right some times this pops up.

Or booting it up, says " Load needed DLL for hal"

At some points it sounds like something powers down then kicks back on when the pc still running. feels like its slowly getting worst & worst, like it booted up but the start menu was set on classic & it unchecked the transparent on the apps text.

Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Strangest comment I've read sofar
"do you stroke your rack when you lie awake in bed at night... dreaming of the oven that got away?"

Sounds to me like a failing hard drive. And possible bad sectors. Unless someone else has a better response I would recommend getting a new HD immediately.

Boot up with ScanDisk and check the HDD
