I know i dropped off abruptly last night. The fire alarm in my condo building went off and i had to quickly get shit together.  There was no fire, but yesterday was the first day above freezing in quite a while... aaaaaand the pipes on the ROOF of the buildig burst!  The units on the east side of the building all flooded, but the west side was spared (and i am on the west side).  However, today, while all of the maintenance guys and contractors were dealing with the east side, the west side burst too Sad  SO, they caught it quickly enough that there was minimal damage below the top floor, but some water does appear to have gotten down into my unit.  Very very little water though, but it does happen to be on the wall where all of our computers and tv and cable modem are all setup.  We are avoiding using any of the outlets on that wall for a couple days to make sure things dry out.

I just wanted to let you guys know why i disappeared last night!  All is well! (if not slightly moist...)

Shit that sucks, I remember when my place flooded back in April...it was at the tail end of a PS session that I noticed the water at my feet.

Slightly moist sounds more than well enough.

Damn I didn't know that detail of the story, but I'm not surprised. Did you yell anything over mumble when you noticed?

If I said anything over mumble, i dont remember.. My first instinct was to shut shit down and grab the cat!  We've got a dehumidifier from the restoration company running in my unit, looks like some water is seeping down from the 4th floor, but nothing catastrophic.
