I manipulated my work schedule to get two days at home, but I have to be in the office both days. I go back out on the road on Friday. I've been home a total of 11 days since the beginning of March. So done with this bullshit.

The sex dungeon isn't done, but I'll see how many other different rooms I can make use of this evening.

Also having a bit of a sad time realizing that I'm now 30 and don't feel like an adult, and my dad started his second marriage and started having kids at 30 and died when he was 60. Mid-life crisis, ahoy.

Thanks for the warm wishes, though, you wonderful group of humans. It means a lot to me that you care.

Working on 40, still have no second marriage and no anklebiters. Dad died before he hit 25, mom died before 60.

And I never had a sex dungeon.

Let's drink.

Happy birthday man. I don't know why we don't try to hang out more often IRL. We should probably try to fix that. B'more is a bit far for a weekday, but a Friday or Saturday would work swell. I'm heavily in agreement with Rummy's drinking suggestion. I feel you about the getting old thing, I'm already starting to freak out about turning 26.

What is being adult? Is it a life built in tribute to the previous generation? Is it having societal-based goals and achieving them? Or is being an adult something you yourself defines? Consider that your life is nothing like what your predecessors have ever lived; your experiences, your influences, your environment. Applying the old philosophies to the new world isn't always realistic, or even worthy.

/waxoff

Raise a glass to the life you've built so far, and the future of your own making. Happy Birthday, Atom.

A bad choice.

Children? Not for me. Lord no. I'm mean enough to my friends without realizing it, I'd hate to do that to a child, especially my own.

Who was the person who said something similar to "There are two steps to being an adult: start acting more mature, and stop trying to act like a grown-up."?

Also, happy belated birthday!
