The story stuff is pretty cool I think.

i'm just hoping they graduated out of the kiddy-school-of-game-design (all the shit was stored locally, your weapon DPS, damage per bullet, ammo, health, etc.) basically meaning if you know how to use a simple memory editor you can easily hack the shit out of it.

Supposedly that's not going to be the case upon release but we shall see.

Ok, I preordered. Played the open beta. I enjoyed it but I hope the full game has more to it than running around a mostly empty city shooting people every so often.

 The beta just seemed more as a stress test on servers.   the whole 25 gb download didn't really show me much regarding depth.    I hope they figured out longevity outside of the typical character grind.    I think the base aspect will keep you busy but what else can they do to keep you interested????      This is where i'm at with this game.

Yeah, my big fear is that the end game content is going to just be the same 2 or 3 missions over and over and camping the entrances to the dark zone killing agents as they come in.

overwatch may be a contender.     Has a firm TF2 feel.

I've heard that about overwatch, apparently people were hoping for it to be more of a MOBA and I'm glad it's more on the TF2 side of things... of course, Paragon is going to fill that void, as well as that one from Gearbox.

I'm more interested in Unreal than any of those other titles because Unreal is outright free with no chance of pay to win (not something I expect out of gearbox or blizzard). Only thing you would have to pay for is hats (but not all of them).

It's Destiny (Loot Drops!) combined with Gears of War (Cover Shooter!), set in a Tom Clancy Universe and an MMO.

That is probably the most accurate description of it.

Honestly I couldn't stand Destiny, and Gears of War was a good time waster but nothing to write home about. But somehow, to me, this is just really fun.
