It's not hard to see the MOBA influence here. I'm interested to see Blizzard try to tackle the genre; hope it doesn't go the way Monday night combat did.

I really think they need to up the TTK. It looks like it was designed as a MOBA style game but the super low TTK will make it more twitch based.  It would be fun to have an FPS that had longer battles and required more strategy.

Edit: it may be Gasman#1510, lol. After having played the game for a few hours, I can safely say it feels like tf2 crossed with unreal tournament and a splash of moba. The maps felt large, but at the same time also felt really small, since there was almost constant fighting. It is possible to fit 12 v 12 in, but needs maps built for that.

The gameplay itself is solid. It's very varied, and every class has some purpose. There still needs to be some balancing done to a few of the classes, but each one felt very playable. I kept getting nostalgia every game I played. No medic, everyone choosing the same classes, shitty camping snipers not helping, not getting on the point you cunts, scout scooting around the enemy team,  soldier being stupid easy,  demo being op, etc.

The movement is more fluid and reactive than tf2, making the fights feel like a combination of unreal and tf2. The abilities of the classes are not so much like a moba,  despite looking like them,  as much as they are they are like the class abilities in tf2, but with timers on them. It helps the pacing of the battles in a similar way that the ammo count in tf2 paced the battles in it.

I would like to play more it, both the beta and after launch, but we shall see whether the dlc is too much of a problem and if I can scrounge up the funds for it. It's very fun, even if it can't support us all.

TF2  Rip off   There's literally some things that make you wonder if Gabe is lifting an eyebrow
TTK -  Not as bad as the videos initially showed but focus targeting will win. 
No health Regen so Medic's play crucial role
Team oriented -  Pugs will get destroyed in a premades. 
Hit Detection -  Pretty good but sometimes I would question what i'm seeing on the replay 
Latency -  Good until you see the above in replay. 
Characters -  Didn't have time to play them all (what counters what)but you really get a TF2 vibe when figuring out roles/classes. 

Runs pretty flawless but my rig is a beast.

I preordered Overwatch a while ago after getting into one of the earlier betas, purely because of the quality of the game and how much nostalgia it evoked. I recommend that everyone try it for the open beta, at least. My Battlenet name is Gasman#1510
