Will be poking through NewEgg and Amazon today for a second one, Id like it to be 20-24" with a 2ms refresh rate or better and high contrast, any suggestions?

I'll further back up my XL2411z recommendation. It's not a cheap display, and it doesn't have the richest array of colors possible, but 144Hz is amazing. I don't think I can go back! For games like KF and CSGO it's much easier to track at close ranges or high speeds. Even the Wolf Among us (point&click adventure game) looks great on it. There are some games (namely cheap console ports) where you won't be able to use that feature to your advantage, but it's still a great display regardless.

So far as I can tell? That stupid little remote peripheral to help you navigate through the menus you'll use once or twice.

Google also says:
2420z: D-Sub (VGA), Display Port, DVI-D, DVI-I, 2x HDMI // 2411z: D-Sub (VGA), DVI-D, HDMI

Panel preference?
Main things your looking for? (Color accuracy, screen latenency, viewing angle, refresh rate, resolution, size in inches, aspect ratio, Vesa mountable)
If not the above question can semi be answered by main uses. (Gaming, digital art/editing, movies, reading, surfing the web)
Price range?

Gsync? If you got nvidia cards that support it. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technology/g-sync

Also side upgrade is mount either combining monitors on one stand or wall mount. Gives you back desk room.

Ps refresh rate measurements... GTG (gray to gray) is not the same as on off or white to black. Same shit for marketing and making things look better then they are. Like on a plasma tv you can say you have a billion to one contrast ratio because the pixel turns off... Can't divide by zero lol.

I'd prefer something all purpose,  but mainly for gaming. Refresh rate and color contrast are the most important to me.

I'm not well versed on monitor specs, hence why I'm asking. I'm also lookin for the best price obv

For basic info this helped me understand a lot. Take 15 min and give it a read.

And

http://www.cnet.com/topics/monitors/buying-guide/

Pricing is important or rather budget are you looking to buy a $5000 4k IPS panel or $50 box store koren special. Helps frame a reference.

Mainly in the end the products I have researched I have gained the most satisfaction from. I can only say I have had very few impulse buys that granted me the same pleasures as something well researched. It's your money spend it wisely.
