Overwatch?

So, I've kind of been keeping an eye on this game. It's very TF2-esque and I can't deny that I've been hankerin' for some class-based team ass-whoopin'.


The beta starts later this month. Anyone interested?

It seems like TF2, but I want to see if they end up making a good pub game and not just another 5v5 / 6v6 game.

I've signed up but keep in mind that the beta is likely going to be pretty limited (except for occasional weekends).

Also Caff, unfortunately I think it is going to be maximum of 6v6 and there will be no third party servers (not sure if you can rent/customize Blizzard ones either).  :\

Why does everything have to be centrally run and small team these days...

It's easier to maintain and guarantee a certain level of latency and quality of service. Prediction on 1-6 is easier than prediction on up to 64.

The only game that qualifies in the outlines that people have put together in all the other threads is Unreal Tournament 4

Overwatch still looks interesting though.

Blizzard has impressed me over the years and I'll surely be trying this out. The trailer alone looks like a next pixar film.
