No idea, but honestly fallout 4 looks exactly like 3 feature-wise, so I think I'll skip it.

I have similar feelings about it but if there's a working crack it'd probably be worth a go. I loved 3 so even if it's strikingly similar I'm sure I'll enjoy it. NV was a letdown for me. I guess we'll see, I'm not about to hold my breath.

I'm really good at holding unpopular opinions.

I also disliked New Vegas.

There are some "trusted options" I've been given a link to. Ping me on steam. Zaius

If you started playing Fallout with the originals, odds are New Vegas will be your favorite.

I have the pip boy edition sitting on my table, but I'm going to wait a while for some basic mods to come out to fix some of the bugs and to overhaul the general clunkyness.

I did replay FO3 several months ago and modded the crap out of it, was so much better than the first time I played it through.

Fallout 4 is real good. The day to day combat is a million times better than 3/NV. Crafting and base building are fun and useful. The only major downside, which is a significant one, is that the dialogue sucks, even compared to 3. Charisma is the only thing that matters for speech checks now. Still, if you want to shoot mutants and loot all the duct tape in the wasteland, it's a good buy.

It's what I wanted 3 to be like. It's good enough to play through and dick around with, but Bethesda has been seriously off their game for a while now.

I guess at least I'm not wishing for a nuclear winter (if i could roll my eyes any harder i fucking would)

The game isn't bad though. I'm going to build a tower to the sky and then jump off of it.

If anyone is looking at modding out some of the annoying features, try:

Full Dialogue Interface
PipWare UI
Lowered Weapon Animations
Optimized Textures

Still waiting for a Dogmeat no clip mod.

Dogmeat no clip mod.

The bastard is gonna stay in his doghouse until then.

are those workshop mods? I'd look into them but I'd need mods independent of steam

There is no Workshop for Fallout 4 yet. These are all from Nexus.

I updated the link CSS a while back to make them underlined, what else should I do to make them more visible?
Drastically different colour from text?

Maybe bold the links too. And link colors should be different from plain text but match your theme.
