I keep maxing out on RAM even with virtually no programs open.  I'm trying to figure out where it is being used but the programs in task manager don't add up to nearly what is being used.  Any advice?

Did you restart chrome recently? Task manager lets you sort processes by the amount of memory they use too

Check the Resource Monitor, it's quite a bit more descriptive. Resmon.exe

I've seen issues where Chrome leaves a thread running in the background with a progressively increasing memory footprint. You would have to manually terminate the process.

Turns out it was a memory leak in the onboard network card driver. Anyone with a Killer Networks card should upgrade to the newest driver from them and not use the Windows driver.
