Half-Life/DMC - ThreeWave and how to Install it

First and formost own and install Half-Life (original) here's the Steam Link:

Install and launch it at least once (also I recommend modifying your Video and Audio Settings before closing it as well.)

Download this:
https://tunedchaos.com/3wave.zip (it's safe that's my server and I made the zip)

Extract all content to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life" (overwriting files if asked)


Next, right click on "Half-Life" and choose "Create Desktop Shortcut"


Next show your desktop (right click your task bar, hold windows key + d, click on the little tiny thing on the bottom right of your taskbar right of your clock, browse to your desktop folder, just get to your desktop somehow).

Right click on your "Half-Life" shortcut and go to "Properties"


After "steam://rungameid/70" add " -game 3wave"


Click OK, you can choose to rename this shortcut to "3Wave" or "ThreeWave" now if you wish.

Double click the shortcut and a big half-life logo will show up on the center of your screen.

You may wish to go to the options again to modify audio and video settings, as well as change your name.

It is also recommended to turn on "fastswitch" this can be done under the Options menu, in the "Advanced" button on the "Multiplayer" tab or just type "hud_fastswitch 1" into console.

E is the grappling hook.

Our server has brbuninstalling.com in the name, or use this IP:
64.137.211.245:27015

You can always use console by typing in
connect 64.137.211.245:27015
and pressing "enter"
