Left 4 Dead is sooooo bittersweet.

I love the game to no end, but it pisses me off with all the glitches it has right now. (IE: Not spawning as an infected, hanging on to ledges when you tried to jump off thus killing you with no hope of rebellion, killing you RIGHT AS YOU SPAWN, and matchmaking is still really glitchy)


I trust Valve will fix these things, but I can't help but get impatient until they do. Any other glitches/bugs I haven't mentioned?

In versus mode, while being a boomer, bind a key to 'kill', when you get into the middle of the survivors, hit the key to explode and cover all of them

Only one I've seen is the no spawning as infected.  That fucking sucks.  One game I got to spawn twice and that was it cause I didn't spawn for at least a minute or two.

That's what happens when you try to jump from a ledge you were never meant to jump off of in the first place. (i.e. the right and left hand sides of the rooftop entrance in the finale of No Mercy).

Yeah, I've seen people go into the "falling" bullcrap when there's the ground just a few feet below them.  It's a little broken in places.

That, I think is because there can't be more than 3 alive in some cases... I may be wrong

That, I think is because there can't be more than 3 alive in some cases... I may be wrong

Yeah, every time it's seemed to leave me stuck on "Entering Spawn Mode", the other three infected were still running around, and I always spawned within 60 seconds. I don't think it's a bug; I just think they need a message to let people know the director is waiting a bit before spawning another infected.

Probably this. Though I can attest Karth did start a match as the Survivors dead. Unless someone on his team killed him really fucking quickly before my game loaded.

I still say the Director thought he was too noobish to play that particular map. Then again..the director sucks at these sorts of things...bitchass.
