Things feel a bit "heavier" not as floaty.  Seems to be evidenced in the ragdolls, as they appear to be a little less lively now too.  Maybe it's just my imagination though.

theres about 3 places people put sentry farms on that map, all three are pretty easy to pipespam.

if they are behind the little windowed building just before the first point, you spaem your shit through the left window, use stickies if they arent getting shot.

if they are on the corner near the stairs below that shelf, you cna place stickies just infront of them, of an uber can easily clear it
a pyro with decent cover can edge it aswell.

if they have some shit on the shelf (they allways will) wait until someone runs out infront of it, then run left up the stairs into that little building, not even a level 3 sentry can reach you there, you can pipe/sticky at will. this is also how you scout cap the first point, aslong as there isnt anything on the left.

The pipes argument is semi-valid, until you take into account 2+ spread sentries and the rest of the team covering. The demo just no longer has the stopping power to do what he needs to do unless you catch the other team unaware. Currently I'll agree, there's no big changes, but that's because your average TF2 player is a retard to begin with. HEALING MY SENTRY AND USING QUICKSWITCH TO SHOOT THE STICKIES AS THEY DROP? OH GOD TOO MUCH I CAN'T DO THIS *kill in console* However when an uber demo runs across 2 or 3 good engis together, he's completely shut down, and that was really the only reliable way to take farms with an uber. Heavies barely ever do it even against a single engi and sentry, soldiers have too much reload and dropoff to be reliable, and the rest of the classes aren't made to take them.

Also, people are focusing on the demo part of this. The engi still basically has a medic on him at all times, meaning soldiers, heavies, and other classes that could have taken out a good engi even if they couldn't get his sentry cannot because the splash damage is just not enough from long distance.

Things are broken and need fixing. It's really as simple as knocking down the heal rate on level 3s and adding HP to the stickies, and the faster Valve realizes this the better off we'll all be. Hopefully those of you who aren't seeing problems yet will never have to.

Best thing to do about the engineer is to get a sniper to kill him.  While others keep the sentry occupied, or the distance is far enough away for the shot, headshots still kill instantly. I know I was doing it the other day when sentries were up and there was level 3 stuff around.  Engineers really aren't as impossible to kill as it's being made out I think.  Just need to pull the teams together more.

The engy is the only class that regularly takes an uber to kill. He also has a perma medic and an aimbot with insane damage and pushback.. This is retarded. Explain to me how a guy holding mouse 1 with his wrench out should be able to stop an entire team? The class all the way around slows the gameplay to a crawl. Also, a moderately intelligent pyro with air blast already made them unkillable. They did not need a boost in any way.


Note: this only applies in pub servers. With even semi organized teams the engy is a pushover. I have no idea how to balance the two.

You're both functionally retarded if you really can't comprehend why this engy buff is ruining public play right now. As it was, mass engies could easily ruin any pub, and now with the buffs, it's ridiculous. For now, game balance is pretty fucked without class limits.

Also, stfu about teams just needing more coordination, everytime brbu ever had a pug on dustbowl during tft/fnf, the game always stalled at stage 3 cap 1 with 3 engies and a couple of heavy-medic combos defending. Now I understand brb isn't the the definition of pro-gamers, but most people here are far from retarded, that's just how it works out when you have a few good players defending a sentry farm. Now imagine those farms with lvl3 dispensers, which heal as fast as a medic, but can heal as many people as you can squeeze around that dispenser.

pffft, stage 3 -1 can be owned by taking out the left sentry, then you are covered by the wall yo cap the point, you cna easily take out anything on the left with one uber, or a demo spamming shit through the window.

I don't know it is fair to say that section "stalls." I think the singular choke point and relatively short walk for both certainly leaves less room for error. But some of my fondest BRBu memories are from being "stalled" and working out how to punch through, or, on D, getting rolled on the earlier Dbowl caps and making a stand there.
