Guess the plan of doin weekly mutations isn't quite gunna work seeing how they're going to switch between 4 player and 8 player mutations. 'Course, we could split off into teams of 4 and play like that, but it sorta defeats the purpose of having a community night. Even without an 8 player mutation, we're not going to just do some lame stock campaign that we've done hundreds of times by now. Nah, I'll be pullin up some custom maps to keep things different (and keep people showin up). With that aside, this week we're gunna do what we didn't do last week.

Dead City II
Kill plenty of zombies starting in RiverSide (city) then battling through the Back Alleys, over a Draw Bridge, at a Military Outpost finding yourself at a Water Plant and during the escape at the Subway Station.

I tried this map before and let me tell you, this monster's long. Six maps in this campaign and none of them are any short. If you plan on comin out, make sure you set quite some time out for this. Though, I'll also say, it's a really well done campaign and hopefully won't cause a whole mess of problems like that last custom.

Game starts at 8pm CST (That's the normal TFT/FNF time) so try to show up on time so we can avoid spending a half-hour waiting for people. Shout out if you can make it, and make sure to spam invites when you show.

Dead City II Download
Important: Make sure you download the Left 4 Dead 2 Add-on Support in the tools section on steam to avoid missing textures and models in custom maps.

I think I might be there if I can make it. I swear I've run this before with someone here, took us a good hour on easy mode.

The main problem with the last custom was people not downloading add-on support, including me. It was a really good custom though.

Well, that, and the fact everyone kept getting map errors. Most of us had full wireframe by the third map.

Either way, most people should have addon support by now. I put a note in the OP anyways. If anyone doesn't have the map, just redirect them to this thread.

Also, any chance on getting these in the BRBu group instead of just the BRB4dead one?

I don't think we'll ever find a good custom versus map.  :'(

Good game, but god what a terrible map.

After a match that was about an hour and a half too long, we came to a conclusion...

Dead City is horrible for VS...

... next week, Death Aboard.. unless there's a good mutation.

Why would it be badwater?

Also, it does.
