Server Crash

Apparently after all the trouble last night, when it came back online minecraft crashed again and this time it throws exceptions while loading the map and won't let anyone connect.  The server will be offline for most of today because I don't have time right now to restore a backup, but you guys can discuss if you did anything after 1:10AM Central time that needs to be saved, because that is the last known working backup. If some of you got online after that and did some work, I will know the later backups are useful, but when I get home today I am going to restore to 1:10AM Central time.

The last image of the map was generated at 2:23 AM CST, not sure if that's of any significance, I'm looking over it now to see if (by some remote chance) the reason it crashed is visible. (Because I need to kill two hours..)

The original crashes were over near titan's place (you can see a bunch of misplaced chunks) but the crash that took the server offline was a different reason.  I had shut the minecraft server down to prepare for a scheduled server restart of my host, and I set an @reboot crontab to restart the minecraft server after the reboot. This was a mistake because they restarted the server 2 times. The first time it came online it started minecraft, but then it got shut down ungracefully again, which caused the map to corrupt requiring me to restore from the backup when I had time after getting home this evening.  We still need to stay away from that complete area until I can get it marked off and restricted. We may need to open the map in an editor to fix it.

your castle is safe but you probably aren't going to like what it looks like. These glitches are causing random chunks near there to be regenerated/reverted so there are 2 chunks that have vanished from luin's cottage and another house, as well as the entire south wall. I also love this massive hole in the map.

If you were banned, it would say banned, not can't connect.

Attempt to connect says "connection refused" either the MC daemon crashed, or was killed.

Check mumble next time, I was online and would have started it back up if someone was trying to do stuff (I was using 100% of both cores to render a map image at the time).

Not sure what the cause is but I wasn't in the server this time, I think it might be related to map generation. (However this is pure speculation)

I was in the server when it happened. Think I was the only one.
It just sorta crashed when I wasn't doing anything.

The overviewerer didn't run (or didn't complete) so I might suspect this aswell.
