If you stop and think about it, in time unusuals will be more common then vintage. With a 0.55% drop rate its rare but they still happen, vintage will not continue to drop in fact some people will stop playing tf2, some will craft their vintage hats and whatever else. point in statement unusuals will continue to grow and vintage will stay the same if not shrink.

Trading vintage hats for unusuals.

Taking 1-3 unusuals per vintage hat, depending on the quality of hats involved.

Serious offers only.

Oh I've got an "unusual" for you Didzo.  But it's not for trade, only use.

<+Karrde> welp, time to learn some basic patterning skills
<@Negate> 12121212121212121212
<@Negate> there is a simple pattern
<+Karrde> I changed my mind.  Gonna cosplay as a gay demon from hell and get negate raped instead XD
<+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself
<+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some.

My brother is the fucking Gordon Gekko of hats, and he says the same thing.

"Vintage hats will increas-" no they won't. Knowing Valve, The hats that are not vintage today will be vintage a year from now.

You're forgetting a few things.....

Current hats may eventually become vintage if the release some other huge update, maybe just rolled into the pool or the current vintage hats somehow become super vintage.

Also for "unusual hats" there's many different combinations, not all unusual bald engineers are going to be sunbeams, some might be the peace sign, circling TF logo, or confetti. Combine that with the fact that you _have_ to open a crate to get one (AFAIK), every unusual hat might as well be unique at this point.

I doubt someone else has another flaming larkkin robin like Luin does, she probably has the only one in existence.

if you're terminally retarded maybe; if you might trade with someone who is terminally retarded (anyone who uses the official steam forums), then you would probably assign a bit more value to a vintage hat compared to an identical non-vintage hat

I give a shit if a hat is vintage or not, so if you have a vintage hat identical to a non-vintage hat I have, I want it. I am willing to add in weapons, metal, etc. to make it work.

And the reason I give a shit is because I am pretty good at finding people who really, really give a shit if a hat is vintage or not.
