What are you talking about

#22 is sold for 40 but bought by the shop for 55

that means if they get it sold to them they can sell it back and make 15 more

Turtle is quite right, you're quite wrong.

- Using totally un-even stack amounts across all sorts of things makes selling things extremely stupid.

- Selling about 98% of items in the game renders half of the game pointless. Make giant wheat farm, sell wheat, buy everything else in the game.

Giving yourself and your buddies 8,000 moneys is as retarded as all the above mentioned things combined, as well.

Look Kirby, I am open to suggestions to make it harder to obtain items, its a work in progress.

Secondly, I'm not sure what you're talking about giving my "buddies" 8000 lashings.
The only people that have more than 500 are admins...
Edit: I don't know how torteela obtained that much money, I'll look into it.

And yes, the lapis lazuli blocks were fixed and TV'sLuca's money was reset.

The currency is called LASHINGS.

Don't know why though.

Ok, here's something constructive.

Purchasable items:

- Dirt
- Cobble
- Flowers
- Netherrack
- Soul Sand
- Glowstone
- Iron Tools

Sell-able items:

- Stone
- Dirt
- Cobble
- Obsidian
- Coal
- Diamond/Diamond Blocks
- Iron/Gold bars/Blocks
- Bread/Books (Not bookshelf block)

Now a walk through reasoning:

Very limited purchasable items, doesn't break the game's whole point of making and obtaining everything yourself, only very basic blocks are available to help take a bite out of large/superlarge constructions and their equally large mining requirements. Netherworld items are available because they're useful/awesome/cool. Flowers are available because beautifying landscape isn't a detriment to game "balance" at all. Iron tools is debatable, but the general consensus when we were talking about it on the server earlier was tools would be nice, gives the ability to do more without too much loss to the goal of the game.

Sell-able is more expanded toward resources because they're obviously valuable, and it's intrinsic time investment makes it an equal trade. Bread and books are included but would have a significantly lower buy price compared to the other resources, because they're quickly renewable.

Now here's a workable pricepoint list:

Item (Stack size)Store Buys @Store Sells @

Cobble(32)22

Dirt(32)22

Flowers(32)X6

Netherrack(16)88

Soul Sand(16)88

Glowstone(16)88

Obsidian(8)16X

Coal(16)16X

Iron Bar(1)12X

Gold Bar(1)16X

Diamond(1)32X

Books1X

Bread1X

What about the idea of getting rid of the store buying stuff easily made, such as the farm crops, lumber, etc.  And having the store only buy uncommon items, so you could then buy rare items, such as diamond and lapis lazuli, and nether items.

Would provide the way to buy stuff that would help you decorate, like glowstone, while making it to where, while you are digging, if you happen to find coal but already have quite a bit, you can do something with it instead of just letting it sit there.

That's just my two cents.

@TV'sLuca, saddles are not up to me.

As a start I have removed
Seeds, Wheat, Fence, Jukebox, Stone Button, Wooden Pressure Plate, Iron Door, Stone Pressure Plate, Level, Furnace, Redstone Wire, Wooden Door, Bow.

Edit: Apples were changed from 5 for 7 to 5 for 15
Edit: Diamond tools removed
Edit: Halved the size of wood stack to 32 and upped to the price (8 to 12) and halved the glass stack size, price remains the same (12 for 32)
Edit: Soul sand, netherrack & glowstone stacks have been change to 10 and subsequently reduced in price (25 to 12) and the buy price was made equal to the sell price (12).
Edit: Jack-O-Lanterns and Pumpkins prices were reduced, both to 15, and made the buy price equal.
Edit: Workbenches removed
Edit: Clay removed, Clay bricks added instead, 4 for 5. Bricks changed to 5 for 25, sell price is 20.
