Fortress Forever

So What did you guys think of fortress forever? I personaly Thought the game was good. I'd Most likely to Deffinatly playit again. Especially that assasin game type : D

I enjoyed it. I only got to play on Aardvark, where Joel would not stop headshotting me, but it was fun regardless. I don't quite understand how the spy works in it (I don't think really anybody does, but still), I enjoyed knifing people quite a bit.

Hahaha Indeed Joel Headshoting. I learned to use the spy. It did take a while to learn but i was determined because i love bein spy : D.

you play spy much differently, you can cloak permanently but you shimmer like the predator at all times.

The spy's main job is to lob grenades at sentry guns without the guns shooting back, since tossing a grenade does not undisguse you, just think of them as you sappers

Most of the weapons are weak and/or control like crap, except the Sniper who gets hitscan rape.  I don't understand how this game is decent at all =<.

I got on too late, but I tried it on another server. It is very different, but it's alright for a play every now and then.

I enjoyed it thoroughly, for some reason all my nostalgia came back much more than in TFC.  Plus I actually did well and I got to play CZ2 which was my favorite map of all time and really needs to be ported to TF2.

The Hunted or whatever it was was a lot of fun. I'd like to see a TF2 adaptation of that game mode. It would have been interesting to see more types of game modes other than just CTF and Hunted though. Like maybe a push map or CP towards the end once we started figuring things out. I don't really understand why we played Aardvark twice though.

They did that, its called payload, and its a piss poor adaptation, not that payload isnt fun, but hunted needs to be there too.

I got on at 10 but it took me an hour and a half to download the damn thing and by then everyone had moved on  Probably a good thing for me, since I had to be studying for my exam anyway.

...Coming from the guy who never played an FPS on the PC really before Half-Life 2 . I just didn't enjoy it really. I don't have the memories of TFC, so I came to it fresh. And it was confusing and laggy...and not very fun to me.

Looks like things are divided right down the middle with Fortress Forever. I personally like it though I could not play due to my PC being out of commission for a while.

My fav part about spy is the saboteur ability of sentries...if you can pull it off.
