I'm willing to spend 200ish, but I'll need an AM2+ motherboard. I might wait a little bit and see what the prices do. AMD just released their Barcelona quads..so...

This page has a lot of info on multithreading in gmod, but it's still source so should be the same as tf2. Didn't do much for me but I'm already running a high fps. Might be useful for people that are getting crappy fps and have multiple cores though.Â
