Planetside Saturdays #5 - Winnebago + Contest

Well...we'll actually all pile into one of these, also know as the Sundy, Bangbus, Mack Truck, Funbus, and DeathBus.

Carries a max of 11 passengers, 1 driver, 6 gunners, 2 MAX suits, and 2 infantry. It has a fuck-ton of armor, if hit from the front any damage is reduced 50%, and it can EMP things. We will be driving one from battle to battle. I also intend on actually using it how it was intended and driving it to a target and we all pile out to attack.

Make no mistake, we will die, we will die a lot, but it will be hilarious.


Certs Required:
Medium Assault

Certs Recommended (In Order):
Rexo
Anti-Vehicle/Special Assault
Engineering
Medical

Don't worry about driving, Atom/Myself/ShadowCast will take care of that. Should less people show than expected, we can always pile into the mini-van





Oh, and the contest, well anyone who shows up and does not already have PS is eligible. If you show up, I'm going to draw names out of a hat, winner will get a free copy of the game.  8)

Oh damn I may have to show for this one.  Been extremely interested in this game but just busy.  I had to do all kinds of housework this past weekend including buying and building a grill (the last one sort of collapsed into rust, damn Florida humidity!).

LOL!  The new one is actually really awesome, it was the best of the cheapest at home depot.  I have to admit that I was drooling over those fancy ones but jebus they are expensive.

To be honest, I haven't shown up the past 2 weeks because I hate the idea of having to make a new account EVERY 2 weeks.  Something about having all those accounts floating around out there that just unsettles me.  This contest intrigues me, but until they bring back free play I'm not making any promises on my return.  :-\

I will not be there, unfortunately, nor will I be for the next month. Moving more stuff to Richmond this weekend, flying to Europe the weekend after that, tooling around Europe the weekend after that, and moving stuff from Indy to Richmond the weekend after _that_. Suck. So basically the next time I'll be playing PS on a Saturday is 11/15.

What's your issue?

Also, it was okay even without the turnout, but we could have used a lot more people. A full bangbus would have dominated whatever we pushed onto, given what we did with just a half-full one.
