Will do.  ;D 1 of everything except an RCA I believe. Also, I am jealous of the LG. I wanted to originally get an LG, but it was too 'spensive.

Well if someone vouches for the Dynex, I'll keep it in mind.  I can't do much more expensive and any other brand around my price range just isn't the size I'm wanting.  I'll look into it to double check, but it maybe something I want.  Not like I need anything more than 1 hdmi connecter, Cable, and a component.  The PC connection would nifty too on occassions.

it will matter when you start hookin up your HD devices. Most everything will want to use your Component spot, it hink HDMI is on ps3 , and dont do Wii in HD , leave that on RCA since sharp jaggies are sharp.

Well since I only have a 360 and probably won't ever own a PS3 at least not for a long time, I really don't need to worry about it.  Plus is it really that hard to just unplug and put the other one in?

PS3 has both Component and HDMI, but HMDI is recommended (and makes those blu-ray movies look so damn delicious). 360 is a component machine. Bluray players are HDMI. So regardless you should be set.

Depends which 360 you have. Some models have hdmi out.

Again, you mean component. There are a bunch of differences between the two. Most important, hdmi is digital, component is analog. So if you're going from a digital device to a digital device, you want hdmi to avoid any kind of generation loss. Component doesn't have embedded audio either.

Not that DRM, it's more made so that people can't link their bluray player to a recording device... Of course there are already some boxes which get around this...

I just picked up a Panasonic 50" Plasma. 1080p, 120hz for $1549 (Canadian, $1254 USD after current conversion)

Now to find a decent source, as cable TV or even my Xbox doesn't do the screen justice.

You crazy peoples and your lack of DLP purchasing.  I bought my 56" Samsung DLP screen for a whopping $970.  DLP gives the brightest colors, just has the drawback of not being wall-mountable due to a little more depth and weight, but from the front looks the same as the snazzy lcds and plasma(e?s?)  Just can't stand while gaming, else the lil' mirrors don't react so well. 

I know hopping on this discussion weeks after it's over, but I feel the need to spread DLP love

DLP is like the 3rd graders' dream: finding you have a twin, so you don't have to go to school every day.  Problem is, that kid's a dick and your friends now hate you.
