I was installing some drivers when my g5 stopped making the cursor moved.

I tried uninstalling drivers and all sorts of things with no luck.  The SetPoint software detects it, but it still doesnt work.

Someone please help, because I'm gonna bust some heads if this bitch is broken.

Did you try re-seating the cable?

Try a different USB port.

If that fails, boot in safe mode; windows should load a generic driver.
Check to see if SetPoint is still installed, if it is uninstall.

If you are still having problems open the Device Mangler (right-click My Computer, Manage)/(Start->Run->'devmgmt.msc') find your mouse, open the properties, hit 'Update Driver', 'Install from a list', 'Don't search', uncheck 'Show compatible hardware', find 'Microsoft'->'HID-Compliant Mouse', Next, Finish.

SetPoint really sucks ass. Most of G5 users I know don't install it.
