I'm pretty sure none of the TF2 classes could be considered "good" Tongue

If we get many more people, it might be a better idea to split up into two groups or something.

I was thinking of that too, but it's hard to organise as 2 DMs, as both have to know what the other is doing so it doesn't degenerate to aweful plot twists.

I know Luin asked if she could help, if we get still more people, I guess she should have to drop her character for that...

Other than that, people should read the book if they don't know the rules yet so that they actually know what they're doing, it'll be going smoother (?).
You still have at least 2 weeks for that, I'll start working on everything on my week off. Hopefully we'll get things started around March 7th.

One other thing we can try is splitting into 2 different parties that'll explore on their own, one playing like Saturday and the other, Sunday, or something like that. If one group plays good and the other plays evil, great things can be done, I think.

I got lucky, my little brother has a copy of the 3.5 players handbook.  If I could get my hands on a DM manual I might be interested in DMing.
I was thinking that something along this line would be pretty cool, especially if like one night their paths cross, or they're racing for the same artifact, or something like that where they are playing off and against each other.

I was thinking more as an "evil" group goinging first, bringing chaos everywhere, burning houses, etc. And a "good" group following trying to fix shit and catch the evil group.
This is a good idea too, probably a lot easier to pull of in terms of plot holes, continuity, etc.  I still think that if we do it this way though we need an epic showdown at some point.

Bacon's idea was better, crossing paths and/or needing the same stuff for certain quests would be awesome movie style action.

It would be awesome, but imagine the logistics of it. Could D&D even support characters fighting one another?

I said I would help, but I was thinking more along the lines of helping someone ELSE be a DM. I don't know enough about it nor am I comfortable enough to do so, and I'm not really interested in devoting that much time to it either, to be honest, especially not with university keeping me busy.

Fourteen sign-ups thus far, cut that down to half a dozen by the time we decide a date and the actual event will end up with Benito reading a story to Dave.
