Sequel or remake?

I'm thinking remake by Michael Bay.

I heard the made-for-TV remake was really good but I've never found a copy of it anywhere.

How can you even have a sequel to that. 12 Angry Men 2: Back in action. The 12 are back and angrier than ever. This summer, Matt Damon stars as Angry man number 3. "I'M ANGRY" Co-staring Keanu Reeves as Angry Man number 11. "Whoa."

Kay that joke's run out. The remake wasn't terribad, I remember it being one of the few remotely watchable things they forced us to see in high school.

I don't understand the poll.

I've never seen the remake, but the original 12 Angry Men with Henry Fonda is absolutely incredible.

What would you rather see hollywood unleash upon us?  A remake of the original or a sequel to the original.

Oh, ok. I think I would rather see a silly sequel than a shitty remake.

How 'bout 13 Angry Men. George Clooney, of course, would play Henry Fonda's role. The movie would begin several weeks after 12 Angry Men ended. George Clooney is having breakfast and reads in the paper that due to some legal technicality, the trial was declared invalid and the defendant was retried with a different jury who found him guilty. Naturally George Clooney is a bit bothered by this, so he finds all the guys who were on the jury with him and they (along with George Clooney's boyfriend who is the 13th man) tunnel under the street from an office building to the jail where the defendant is awaiting the electric chair. They break him out and make their getaway in a city bus (due to a hilarious bit of miscommunication between Clooney and Juror 7 who is the team's wheelman), which naturally leads into a very silly chase scene across Manhattan. Which would somehow lead to a cool ending, but I'm too lazy to think of anything.

They should rent a fishing boat after the bus trip for HIL-AR-IOUS One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest references.

I would watch this.  But it needs more Michael Bay explosions.  Also a caper.

Just 'digitally remaster' the original and leave it at that, it was a great movie
