This remake is starting to look really damn good.  Plenty of things to be fixed atm, but my god this is looking amazing.  For those who don't know, Project AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake) is trying to be a relatively faithful remake of Metroid 2: The Return of Samus.  Considering there's only a handful of people working on the project (I think it's 2?) this has surpassed my wildest expectations.

That does look quite good... though I haven't been involved with these games you can see how, as a re-make, this one has progressed quite nicely.

Metroid II was really under-rated and considering what else was out on the gameboy at the time it really pushed the limit

I hope he uses a modified Omega Metroid sprite from Fusion...but that would probably require some redesign of the rooms you fought them in...

I like where this is headed.

I wish another Metroid game would come out that lets the metroids do their evolution thing again.  It's just something I really dug when I played Metroid 2 and was kinda bummed that they never really did anything with it again except for stasis tank cameos and SURPRISE OMEGA in Fusion.
