Another Friday, another FNF. This time I'll be here instead of getting totally shitfaced somewhere in the city...

We have a nice varied selection of maps today, all of them look very promising and I'm very curious to see how they will play

The custom maps of today will be:

dom_canalzone_b3 - The second beta of this map was already played in the US TFT and got a lot of positive reactions, now it's time for b3. <3 vilepickle.
tc_spectre - OMGWTFBBQ: A custom tc map... And it looks pretty sweet as well. Let's hope this won't go all hydro on us.
ctf_omega_redux - A very nice looking CTF map, getting a lot of good feedback as well.

The important information:

Map Pack - This has been updated with all the custom maps we play except the new ones linked above, so download it to save yourself from lots of downloading.

If you had a reserved slot on Caffeine's server, you will have it on this one as well, if you don't and want a reserved spot: mail me your Steam ID on FNF [at] ams-sec [dot] org

Also I've installed a new AFK manager which actually works but has one little bug which I'm annoyed with...

What's that?
Bah, I posted in the other FNF thread by mistake.

Anyway, same as I posted there, I can't play tonight because my computer's drivers are broken at the moment.  >Sad
At first I was like: Why the fuck did we resurrect a post from January?

And then I lol'ed.

US date format is the most illogical format I know, it's not big-endian or little-endian, it's mixed.... For me it would make the most sense to do either YYYY-MM-DD or DD-MM-YYYY. One goes from the highest number to the lowest and the other from the lowest to the highest... Why would one start in the middle, then go to the lowest and then the highest, it doesn't make sense...
Starting from server 3?  I feel everyone's just going to stick around in server 1 Tongue

Timezones seem to be a hard concept to grasp for you?  ;D

Yeah, it sucks. When I worked for the gov, I latched onto DD-MM-YYYY.  But, having to track multiple document versions in windows forces me to adopt YYYY-MM-DD.  So I agree, having the month first is just archaic.

we know this, yet if you have a good solution to simultaneously convert ~300 million rednecks, I'd love to hear it.
I like it. It does go lowest-to-highest, just in terms of quantity instead of, uhm, superiority.

See, you have 12 days in a year, and (at most) 31 months in a day, and then XXXX years in, erm, time.

Tell them that metric is a terrorist's secret weakness?
