I have 2 monitors, and LG and a Samsung. The Samsung was my primary until I made the LG my primary for work space purposes.
TF2 worked before. Now when I start TF2, it shows the valve logo little movie, and then quits, no crash error, no nothing, just gone.
What does switching primary monitors have to do with playing tf2, I dunno, but I need a solution that does not involve me switching back.

Edit: Man, how did this get here, could someone move it to the right place?
I get strange behavior on mine.  I'm running Vista, two Samsungs (24", 19") on ATI Radeon.  If I run TF2 full screen, it's like it keeps switching resolutions and keeps wanting to show the desktop and then the full-screen game and then the desktop.  I've had to stay running in a window.  I prefer it that way, but I know I'd get better performance if I run full screen, but i can't if it's going to do that shit.
Just found out:

By switching primary monitors (one 1440 x 900 and the samsung 1600 x 900), tf2 (originally on the samsung) is now on the smaller LE, and crashes, instead of fixing the goddamned resolution.
switch the monitor cables when you reboot
or just delete your config.cfg to force defaults and reset your resolution and other stuff next time you start TF2

run the command line -autoconfig instead.
