Be Right Back, Uninstalling

What: To quote Destructoid's Yashoki: "If you've never played The Ship before think of it as Clue meets The Sims. The idea of the game is that you're on a ship with many other passengers and everyone has someone that they must murder. The twist is that you also have to tend to your needs such as eating, sleeping, going to the restroom and showering; all of which are designed to distract you while your murderer hunts you down. The Ship involved a ton of mind games as there will be players trying to make you believe they must hunt you down."  For more info I highly suggest you check out Surf's excellent beginners guide for it.

Why: It's an amazingly unique and fun experience. The way's of killing people are highly inventive and varied, whether it be a revolver, fire axe, poison syringe or simply lighting them on fire. The game can quickly become and intense cat and mouse chase with the victim ducking in and out of the safe zones in, balancing hunting his own prey, while avoiding his would be assassin. It's a type of game you'll get no where else and that you have to at least experience once.

When: Sunday the 28th starting at 8:00 PM EST. The time can easily change though if another is more convenient for the majority.

How: The game is only $20 on Steam, and plenty of members have guest passes there willing to donate. And apparently, if your diligent you can find it in bargain bins and such for even less.

Who: A lot of you have shown interest whether in the thread or in conversations, but it'd be great to have some a definite list. Just reply to the thread if your interested (And bring friends! Whether they be from real life, Destructoid or what ever have you. The more the merrier!) and we'll see what we can work out. The time and even day if it comes to that is easily adjustable. I can't urge you enough to come out and play, if only for that night, just to get a taste. I think once you do, you'll truly develop a love for it.

the point was you could be buying someone else's already used key :

the one i bought was fine, just make sure it says new

I will have to pick this up, I enjoyed it when I used a guest pass forever ago.

I remember everybody ended up blocking the stairs on one of the levels and I just said "FUCK IT YOU'RE ALL DEAD". 

Alrgiht, the Dtoid server was taken down, but Yashoki said he'd gladly get a new one, and front all the costs, for us and some interested guys from Dtoid. Sounds like a pretty great deal, and the thought of even more people coming out to play is especially awesome. Everyone down for that?
