That's got its own silly peripheral, the head-tracking thing, right?
Why would you have a contest for the OB?  Is there anyone here that seriously needs it?  Most people must have most of, if not all of it by now.

OB is just value-added. The contest is for OB + a Falcon.

Backfire is thinking about having a contest to get rid of his extra OB now that he bought one.  I know it's confusing now that there are several running conversations in this thread.

Well, I just ordered me falcon. My wallet's gunna hate me for this one though, but it's cheaper than waiting a while to get the money only to discover that it's now twice as much since the sale ended.

Also, I'm apparently getting another Orange Box key... what to do with this.  :Smile
Contest.

Or give it to me.

The latter is way more awesome cause IM2GUEWD
[/quote]Liking the contest idea... what kind shall I host? ^-^

Edit:

Kinda.  TrackIR headtracking isn't exclusivly ArmA, it's just a peripheral...

...however the only game it really supports it that isn't a flight simulator is ArmA2/ArmA1 so yeah might as well be.

Based on the 5 minutes I played ArmA though, it seems that TrackIR thing really the only thing it has going for it. That game has some of the most awkward mouse control I've seen in a game, and it's not just because of faulty sensitivity.

That's true but you get used to it, and I've lessened it A LOT by disabling post-processing/AA (to increase frames) and disabling mouse acceleration in windows.

The only thing turning me off from buying the game is that most demo servers are set up terribly.  Either they are full of lag or they have some bullshit where the map/objectives are never visible, and you can't do anything except spawn in the middle of a field and respawn at the point you died.

I've heard most people know how to set up servers though in the full game... so I hope.

Well they're supposed to be starting the contest in 20 minutes or so.  I saw HAAAAHNEST's jobless ass was able to sign up on page 5.  Somehow I managed page 8 by a total fluke.

What does that have anything to do with anything, you're on page 8 and Blues is like 7 or something and...you know what change course.

Wedge is picking on me SadSadSad

Wait theres a sign up post?  Since when?

I THOUGHT WE WERE IN THIS TOGETHER, TRAITORS!!
Has anyone tried firing that sun beam gun from the end of Prey with this thing? I tried firing it and it literally knocked the controller outta my hands. You pretty much have to put both hands on the grip to aim the damn thing.

Speaking of holy shit I can't aim with powerful things, did you try shooting with the usable combine turrets in Half-Life 2 such as the ones outside Nova Prospekt?

Haven't went through hl2 yet. Couldn't really be bothered to get the settings the same way I have it in the other source games. I'll do it eventually though.
Do you guys play TF2 with this still/ more than mouse?  why/why not?  How is it after more hours of play time?
kthnx Smile
UUughhhhhh stop making me want this

I'm now at the point where I might seriously pick this up down the line when they support more stuffs and such (and a price drop).

Only bad thing I see is that a lot of their support packages act as mods for games, and many times such as in Crysis you can only run one mod at a time.

I used it for tf2 for a while and was getting noticeably better with the falcon, but after a while I just gave up and went back to using my mouse. I use the falcon on l4d and any other games that have support though. Left4Dead alone is worth the money for the falcon though  ;D
