You think when your dreams start becoming about how you'll never get a job regardless of the actual 'plot' of the dream itself, you might be going a little off the deep?

I dunno. I'm trying to read this as a sign since usually events don't directly penetrate my dreams.
You'll get there eventually, took me 6 months with a masters degree to get a job I could be doing with a bachelors...that's a 1.5 - 2 hour commute away and underpays me.

Something is better than nothing at least. Just keep looking, and work with friends/family/former colleagues to help find work
econamy is in the toilet atm, it's no wonder you cant get one
i know when i have to go look for a job im going to be ending up moving far away if im gonna wanna do what i wanna do
as long as i get internet ill be fine
I work for a grocery store and probably can't hope for much better even if I decided to get a GED and go to college. I may work on doing those things someday...maybe.
I was unemployed for 8 months of the year last year, and still don't have a reliable job and haven't for the entire 2009 year up until now. May have just caught a lucky break yesterday but I'll have to see, it's bad when you can be straight offered a job and still be skeptical.

My friend Jon just finished his degree in Computer Engineering, and Best Buy won't even hire him as a regular employee, much less as a Geek Squad member which he applied for to do until he finds a real job.
i feel for you guys Sad, thank god i graduated before this mess happened.  i was pretty fortunate, companies came to our school to interview us so it made it real easy

All of the companies I know personally have put a hold on all new hires. The ones in good shape are hiring only when attrition leaves them with a critical opening that must be filled, the ones in bad shape are actively cutting non-revenue producing staff.

If out of a job right now, probably the best thing to do is improve your skills with additional education / credentials / certifications / trade school / internships / volunteering so that you have more skills to be more marketable in more lines of work. Said otherwise, grind, level up, and skill up if you want to get through the next dungeon. If you have a job right now, hold onto it.
Problem with this is you need money for certs/school, which is unaquireable if you have any type of bills and are working a shit job. More money for school to get a better job to make more money. Bad circle.
Anywhere I actually want to work isn't hiring. I'm probably going to have to work for my local Grocery Store. Sad

Beggers can't be choosers, and among the shit jobs high-schoolers usually work that's a pretty decent one.
