Ever curious who actually provides us with the ModBox that we use on a weekly basis for things like 'The Ship', Dystopia, or Neo-Tokyo?

While the name is right in the server's URL, I doubt many of you have taken a minute to view the site or its forums.

The site's owner/founder IdiotWithGuns posts some greats reviews usually geared toward computing peripherals and other add-on gear. If you are looking for reviews on cooling equipment for  your spiffy new computer that you are planning on building it's well worth checking out.

He also tends to give away the stuff he reviews to readers, so check back on the forums from time to time to post in the drawing threads. Chooly and Geoff won something at one point if I recall correctly.

Lastly, he's looking for a few more reviewers. If you have the time to dedicate toward it, its a sweet gig. I did a few reviews on some logitech products that I ended up giving away here as part of a promotional contest if any of you can remember back that far. (J-sin won but gave the keyboard to Cecil who has carpel tunnel).

You get to keep whatever you review and can ebay it, use it, or give it away. Its defiantly quite rewarding if you have the free time to commit to it.

But seriously, give the man a bit of love, he does give us a server for free after all Smile
I'd totally want to help review but I'm in Canada. D:
I keep reading the word "sponsor" as "sponson"
fuck i would love to review parts, but i dont have a camera.

also, do not have a newer machine yet...

another edit, it's been a while since i have visited there, but damn, relevant to my interests Smile
I would love to help as well... but I also have the Canada problem.

Also, my reviews might not be as helpful as some...

"It came in a fucking awesome box, so I stared at it for like an hour".

Srsly though, I could do some actual reviewing but not, I'm sure, what others here could do.

I'd love to jump on review for free stuff but I've never reviewed "professionally" before and am going to have my hands full with modding, school and work Smile

What kinds of things are for review?  Is this mostly PC components (not *major* stuff I assume)?

for something other than gaming no doubt....

DAWWWWW

I wish I could, but I'm illiterate =\ sorry
I'd love to test one out  ;D

I assume that this is a volunteer based thing, right?  Other than recieveing things to review (or would you have to buy one?)

I do enjoy voicing opinions, I've just never done it in any offical manner.  And I worry about time, this school year is going to be hella busy for me  :-X
well you just answered your own question lol  You need to dedicate more than 20 minuts for this and no you are not required to buy anything, but you need to have tools to perform tests on.
20+ min? Doesn't seem like a lot of time.  Per product I would assume?
