So yea...I'm finally posting another thread for PS, after two bouts of recent and retarded drama have whittled down our player-base a bit, but I'm hoping that actually posting a thread will bring a few more people out of the wood work. Recently we've been playing NC because of combination of both drama and NC being the low-population empire.

A recent patch has finally nerfed the lasher as well as merged the European server Werner into Gemini, helping to boost pops somewhat even though the free-play period is over. If Vanu pops have dropped down a significant amount we might want to consider moving back to the purple tights. I apologize if it seems like we jump around a lot, but sometimes it can be fun and refreshing to shake things up a bit.

I've also been wrapped up in running the TF2 contest so that has sapped some of my time as well, if you plan on coming out on Friday, please take a moment to vote & discuss.

Fun in this game increases exponentially with the more people that join up so I hope to see more of the people that stated they were interested in the initial thread to come out, the game is FREE, but you are restricted to 14 days after which you will have to start all over again. If you get "suspended" or banned since the trial accounts are loopholes just make another one. Conversely you can spend $20 to pick up the game at direct2drive, which comes with a free month, this allows you to keep your character instead of having to re-level someone every 2 weeks.

Make sure all .EXE files are running in compatibility mode for Win95 and all the boxes for 'disable vista themes' are also checked.

Remember, the trials sometimes will RANDOMLY suspended you, just a heads up.


If you have issues running the game, make sure launchpad.exe and planetside.exe are both being run in Win95 Compatibility mode

It's less if you sub for 3 or 6 month increments.

I'm still an eel-burger in TO, in which no-one has logged on in 5 days (last was shoink) and our fearless leader 9 days. For a moment I was unsure whether I was still in the cool kids club, but shadow still has 2 alts in TO and major has 1, so now I know I am no longer cool.

My alt is still in TO too
