I'm sorry Gordon... Link... Link established me as a gamer, Link to the Past was when I first knew I'd be playing all my life, having gotten up at 5am to play it and then asking my dad to convince Blockbuster I destroyed it.

Seeing as I've played 5 minutes of Half-Life, and about 50+ hours of Zelda games... Link, hands down.

As much as I love the One Free Man, I gotta go with Link.

I voted Freeman, because I grew up on PC gaming. Sure, I played A link to the Past, but theoretical physics are just so much cooler.

TF2 != Half-Life

One is a fun multi-player party-style shooter, the other is a sprsrs single player fps. Guess how many single player games I've ever beaten in my lifetime? Under 10.

Don't really like either of them that much :X I've never understood why blank slates like them always win these sort of things.

I liked the protagonist from Suikoden II more honestly. At least in that game you could talk for him. He was still called a silent protagonist, oddly enough.
