Currently, Love, the not-so-Massive-Multiplayer-Online-FPS-City-builder is in alpha stages right now. Paid alpha (3 Euros, or ~4.40 USD), but finally alpha nonetheless. Eskil is working HARD on this game, hopping on Goon vents just to talk with everybody while we play it out. I'm playing it now as my main MMO, and I recommend you try too.

It's actually pretty functional. The only thing really missing is SOUND.
Also, ATL2 was down for a while, so my name probably didn't exist for a bit.
