Be Right Back, Uninstalling

Alright I know I had an old thread about Killing Floor that persuaded some of you but now I'm here to persuade ALL of you!!! They just got a new update for it that added more weapons AND more maps. "But Faaaace L4D2 comes out soon why do I need this!" Cause instead of paying another $50 for the second half of a game you can pay $20 for the whole thing.

Update Includes:

Added an all new fireball projectile launching specimen called the Husk

Added a new Perk called Demolitions. This Perk's new weapons are the Pipe Bomb, M79 Grenade Launcher, and M32 Grenade Launcher

Added new weapons for existing Perks

Support: AA12 Automatic Shotgun(with Alt-Fire Semi-Auto mode)

Sharpshooter: M14 EBR Semit Automatic Sniper rifle(With Alt-Fire Laser
Sight)

Commando: SCAR Automatic Rifle(with Alt-Fire Semi-Auto mode)

Medic: MP7M Modified Sub-machine Gun(with Alt-Fire Heal Dart)

Added 3 New Maps: KF-Bedlam, KF-Wyre, and KF-Waterworks(the Grindhouse Wave 1 first place finisher)

Extended Perk Level to 6 with Gold Perk Icons to signify to others that you are Level 6. New perk levels included enhanced abilities for each perk

Added 22 new Achievements focused on the new Perk, Maps, and Weapons

Completely redone User Interface with a more user friendly Trader Menu design

Implemented new Headshot system that improves headshot detection in network games. Additionally this system fixes Insta-Kill Decap on Fleshpound when attacking up close, and fixes the headshot detection issues on the Scrake

Improved Healing tool functionality. Healing tool will no longer give "false positives" where the healing animation plays but no actual healing occured. Healing should be easier to perform as well

Added ability to Repair Body Armor at Trader, with the additional ability to partially repair the armor when low on money

Improved Collision Detection on players. Should allow you to shoot Zeds near other players where the old cylinder collision would not

Tweaked Clot attack animations

Fixed not being able to properly select your Perk in the Lobby Menu when you join a game during Trader Time

Fixed 3rd Person Nade throwing animations not working online

Fixed issues with the UPnP system implemented in version 1007. The UPNP system should now properly handle opening ports on many more routers. UPNP system is now asychronous so will no longer make the game appear to hitch if the UPNP system is active. Including a new INI setting for disabling UPnP support

Fixed known exploits on all official maps(KF-BioticsLab, KF-Farm, KF-Foundry, KF-Manor, KF-Offices, and KF-WestLondon)


And there's even a free trial if you're still skeptic

It is fun from what I've played, and BERZERKER is fun/easy especially with a Chainsaw. I'm still broke tho, otherwise I'd buy it :V hint hint Face

Gave a few waves a try with this free weekend and it seemed alright.  Definitely need to play this game with friends lol

indeed. It's a bitch solo, especially trying to gun. But with friends, it rocks.

I don't even get why they put solo in there. I played it and lasted like 2 rounds.

I made it two rounds my first time and then managed to squeeze out a third round by spamming grenades other weapons to just end up dying by some chainsaw dude lol

I was playing with with a bunch of people and we made it to the Patriarch on Hard difficulty. Then got brutally slaughtered. He's so good it's stupid, you die in one shot from his grenade launcher.

He has a Rawkit Lawnchair and Chaingun apparently.

For some win play office stay on bottom floor in that hallway, weld the backdoor and just blast em (make sure you have at least one good Demolitions guy). When patriarch comes go outside and just make sure he plants bombs right in front of the door.

Actually, this is _QUITE_ troubling, it means some people are actually buying MW2

So I read that the Steam top 10 list is calculated by actual revenue. So since Killing Floor is currently one fourth the price of MW2, I believe that means it isn't only outselling it, it's outselling it at least 4 to 1.

Most people think it sucks because it's low priced and not the best graphics

But aside from the graphics (which aren't bad at all), it's great.

Actually the graphics are fucking amazing for the Unreal Engine 2. That's the same engine that UT2004, Rainbow Six 3, and some older games were built on.
