Who thinks the PSP Go is worth buying? Plus, I understand UMD's from the PSP can be played but MUST be downloaded from the PSN (PlayStation Network). What I want to know is can I use the same Memory Card so my games are still there because I am NOT starting Monster Hunter Freedom Unite all over again!
Thanks in advance.
I'm fairly sure you can use the same memory card, but not sure if a Go is worth buying at 250 bucks.
You can't use the same memory card. PSP Go uses Memory Stick Micros.

Oh yeah...lolsony
It's sad that they did so many things right with PS3 for using more open formats (There shouldn't be any reason I can't plug in a mouse and keyboard to a 360, or use a thumbdrive for a memory stick, etc) but they fuck up so bad on PSP with that. Different revisions can't even use some of the other models accessories, PSPgo being the most egregious example of that. And don't even get me started on the memory stick format.

That said PSP is actually one of my favorite platforms these days. If you're looking for a PSP you can usually pick up a used slim or 3000 for under a hundred bucks, and they can do almost everything a Go can. And some of the digital copies of some games are surprisingly reasonably priced.
If you really want a PSP, get an older one and hack the fuck out of it

This, you can still get a 2000 on Amazon for much less then the Go, and hacking is supposedly easy as pie provided you don't ever update your firmware.

Don't you have to get that battery thing?
No, if there firmware hasn't been updated you can get a downgrader executable and CFW to put on a memory stick. It's pretty easy these days and the newer CFWs can even download updates wireless now, lol.
Just get a 3000
o___ô
