Never played one, or care about playing 2, but if you play the beta, you'll clearly see this

BFBC2: The Beta Annoucement Trailer

It says clearly "Bienvenidos a la Republica de Chile" (Welcome to the Chilean Republic), the beta takes place in Arica, the north of Chile (i live almost 13 hours from there, so forget about running around trying to find and shoot me). Arica is next to the world's dryest Desert and is often used as a military training camp..

now people will know that chile exists.... as a place where terrorist fight :3. As long as the terrorist are Peruvian or Bolivian (or mexican) i will love the game <3. If the terrorists are Chilean, all of the Developers will get a punch on the face by mail.

I was a huge fan of the first one.  Yes it's a console shooter and it's made to be such, but the game played really well and the story was entertaining, since Battlefield games never really had a good singleplayer mode to it and the multiplayer in this game is alot different to the PC version.

I'm pretty excited for this release, though I'm bummed it was pushed to next year, maybe scared off by Modern Warfare 2, but I guess it is understandable with both of them being modern war shooters with big multiplayer components.

When did he ever mention halo
I think he brought it up with my remark about it "being a console shooter", since some people were turned off by its gameplay somewhat cause it wasn't all that realistic or had some deep class system like Modern Warfare.  I thought it was pretty refreshing as far as shooters went and was real fun.
Uh oh, someone go rescue vongore before some half drunk gunnery seargant crashes his jeep into his house Tongue
